We are seeking a talented and motivated MEP BIM Technician to join a growing team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-established architectural consultancy delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and mixed-use developments.

Working alongside architects, engineers, and design professionals, you will play a key role in developing coordinated MEP BIM models and supporting the successful delivery of projects from concept through to construction.

Key Responsibilities of this MEP BIM Technician role:

• Produce and develop high-quality MEP BIM models using industry-standard software.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) services with architectural and structural models.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve design clashes.
• Prepare detailed drawings and construction documentation.
• Ensure models comply with project BIM standards and client requirements.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary design teams throughout all project stages.
• Support continuous improvements to BIM processes and workflows.

About You

• Experience working as an MEP BIM Technician within a consultancy or building services environment.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Good understanding of BIM Level 2/ISO 19650 standards and BIM coordination processes.
• Experience using Navisworks and other BIM coordination tools is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of building services design and construction.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
