Salary: Circa £70,000 + Car Allowance + Mileage + Pension + Healthcare
Are you a mechanically biased MEP Manager looking for a role where you can take ownership of MEP delivery across a diverse range of construction projects?
ECS Recruitment Group is recruiting an experienced MEP Manager for a respected principal contractor with an established presence across the commercial, residential and hospitality sectors.
This opportunity would suit someone who has progressed from a mechanical building services background and enjoys coordinating MEP delivery, working alongside project teams, consultants and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
The Role
As MEP Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of MEP packages across multiple live projects, overseeing every stage from design coordination through to commissioning and handover.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing the delivery of mechanical and electrical packages across multiple projects.
• Coordinating design information and resolving technical issues during construction.
• Planning and monitoring programmes to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Managing MEP subcontractors and supporting procurement activities.
• Ensuring high standards of quality, compliance and health & safety.
• Producing and reviewing RAMS and project documentation.
• Building strong relationships with project managers, site teams, consultants and subcontractors.
• Monitoring project progress and supporting successful commercial delivery.
• Managing commissioning, testing, snagging and final handover.
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
• A strong mechanical building services background.
• Experience managing MEP packages on commercial construction projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working for either a principal contractor or an M&E contractor.
• A proactive, organised approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality projects.
