MEP Project Manager

MK Search

An established European MEP contractor is looking for an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of a €10m+ cooling infrastructure upgrade within a live data centre in Amsterdam.

This is a high-profile retrofit project being delivered directly for the end client, involving the replacement and upgrade of CRAH units and associated mechanical infrastructure while maintaining operations within a critical environment.

The Role

You will have overall responsibility for delivering the project from planning through to commissioning and handover, including:

  • Full ownership of a €10m+ data centre project

  • Managing CRAH and critical cooling infrastructure upgrades

  • Coordinating mechanical, electrical, BMS/controls and commissioning teams

  • Managing works within a live operational data centre

  • Planning phasing, shutdowns and critical works

  • Managing subcontractors and specialist suppliers

  • Programme, quality, safety and commercial oversight

  • Direct management of the end-client relationship

  • Driving the project through testing, commissioning and final handover

What We're Looking For

We want to speak with Project Managers, Mechanical Project Managers and MEP Project Managers who have delivered technically complex projects within data centres, mission-critical facilities or similarly demanding environments.

You will ideally have experience across some of the following:

  • Data centre construction or retrofit projects

  • Live / brownfield environments

  • CRAH units and critical cooling

  • Chilled-water and HVAC systems

  • Major mechanical upgrades

  • Shutdowns and change control

  • Testing & commissioning

  • Client-facing project delivery

You don't necessarily need to have delivered an identical CRAH replacement project, but you must be comfortable managing complex MEP works in a critical environment and taking overall responsibility for project delivery.

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a significant €10m+ project in Amsterdam with an established contractor operating across the European data centre market.

You'll have direct exposure to the end client, responsibility for the full project lifecycle and the opportunity to build your track record delivering major live data centre upgrades.
