Salary: £70,000 – £85,000 + package

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MEP QA Manager to join an established MEP contractor delivering major building services projects across London.

This is a key role within the project team, responsible for ensuring that all mechanical and electrical works are delivered to the required quality standards, in line with project specifications, drawings, ITPs and relevant regulations.

The Role

As MEP QA Manager, you will take ownership of quality assurance across the project, working closely with the project management, engineering and site teams to ensure installations are completed correctly and fully documented.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the overall MEP quality assurance process across the project.

  • Developing and implementing project-specific QA/QC plans and ITPs.

  • Carrying out inspections of mechanical and electrical installations.

  • Ensuring works comply with drawings, specifications, standards and project requirements.

  • Reviewing inspection and test records and ensuring documentation is completed correctly.

  • Raising and managing NCRs, defects and quality issues through to resolution.

  • Working closely with site teams and subcontractors to prevent quality issues.

  • Coordinating with the client, consultants and project management team on quality matters.

  • Monitoring installation quality and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Supporting testing, commissioning and handover activities.

  • Maintaining accurate QA documentation and project records.

  • Ensuring all quality requirements are met ahead of project handover.

About You

We're looking for an experienced QA/QC professional with a strong MEP background and a detailed understanding of mechanical and electrical installations.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience as an MEP QA Manager, QA Manager, QA/QC Manager or MEP Quality Manager.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.

  • Experience working for an MEP contractor or main contractor.

  • Good understanding of ITPs, inspection processes and quality documentation.

  • Experience managing NCRs and quality issues.

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

  • The ability to work effectively with site teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients.
