Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor

Healthcare project | Bedfordshire | Permanent, full-time

We’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) experience to join a major healthcare project in Bedfordshire.

Two-stage tender experience is essential. You’ll need to talk through a project you worked on, the MEP packages involved and what you personally delivered during each stage.

The role

• Manage the commercial aspects of MEP packages from tender through to delivery.

• Lead subcontract enquiries, tender reviews, procurement and negotiations.

• Produce cost reports, forecasts and commercial plans.

• Manage variations, payments, subcontract accounts and commercial risk.

• Work closely with design, estimating and operational teams.

What you’ll bring

• Senior Quantity Surveying experience with a strong MEP focus.

• Proven involvement in a two-stage tender.

• Good knowledge of MEP systems, procurement and subcontract administration.

• Working knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts.

• A Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent experience.

The vacancy is listed in the Rushden area, with the project based in Bedford. The exact working arrangement will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.
