Salary: £45,000 Basic Salary | OTE £50,000

As an MET Technician / Strip & Fit Technician, you will be responsible for dismantling, repairing, and refitting vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Stripping and refitting mechanical, electrical, and trim components

• Diagnosing and replacing damaged vehicle parts

• Carrying out repairs in line with manufacturer repair methods

• Working closely with Panel Beaters and Paint Technicians to ensure efficient vehicle turnaround

• Completing quality checks before vehicles are returned to customers

• Maintaining accurate workshop documentation

• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience as an MET Technician, Strip & Fit Technician, Vehicle MET Technician, or Vehicle Strip Fitter within a busy Bodyshop or Accident Repair Centre

• A recognised qualification such as NVQ, VCQ, SVQ, ATA, or equivalent

• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with an excellent understanding of modern vehicle repair techniques

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

• The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
