We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG & TIG Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established engineering business based in Thetford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder/fabricator looking for a new role with an immediate start available.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for MIG and TIG welding and general fabrication work, producing high-quality components to engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG welding of various materials

• General fabrication and assembly work

• Working from engineering drawings

• Measuring, cutting, forming and preparing materials

• Ensuring welds and finished components meet quality standards

• Carrying out visual inspection of finished work

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

• Working efficiently to meet production deadlines

Requirements

• Previous experience in MIG and TIG welding

• Good fabrication skills

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Relevant welding/fabrication qualifications are advantageous but not essential

Package

• £15.00–£17.00 per hour, depending on experience

• Permanent position

• Immediate start available
