MIG Welder in Ilkeston, Derbyshire

Orbital Recruitment are currently looking for a MIG Welder for our client, a large, expanding multinational company based in Ilkeston.

This is a hands-on welding role carrying out repairs and maintenance on steel skips and containers. There is the capacity to work 10-hour days when required.

The role:

• MIG welding on steel
• Welding repairs to skips and containers
• Basic plate work and fitting
• General fabrication and repair work
• Working to a good standard in a busy industrial environment

Pay/ Hours:

• £15 - £16 per hour
• Overtime paid at x1.25
• Standard 40 hour week, Mon - Fri (07:30 - 15:30 - with capacity to work up to 50 hours per week)
• Immediate start available
• Temp to perm opportunity
