Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer
We are currently working with an established Air Conditioning Contractor with over 30 years of experience delivering installation, service and maintenance solutions across commercial and residential environments throughout Sussex, Surrey, London and the South East.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys a varied role, combining service, maintenance, fault finding and installation work across a wide range of air conditioning systems and manufacturers.
The successful candidate will be confident working independently as well as part of a team and will take pride in delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Carrying out service, maintenance and repair works on commercial and residential air conditioning systems
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on a range of manufacturer equipment
• Installing air conditioning systems across commercial and domestic environments
• Working on split, multi-split, VRF/VRV and applied air conditioning systems
• Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
• Working independently and alongside other engineers when required
• Completing service reports and associated documentation accurately
• Maintaining excellent customer relationships and providing a professional service
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures
• Covering Sussex, Surrey, London and the wider South East region
Tickets / Qualifications
• Valid F-Gas Certification essential
• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence essential
• PASMA beneficial
• First Aid beneficial
Key Capabilities Required for This Role Include
• Previous experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer within commercial and/or residential environments
• Strong service, maintenance and fault-finding experience
• Installation experience across a range of air conditioning systems
• Good understanding of electrical fault diagnosis
• Experience working on equipment from multiple manufacturers
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional and reliable approach to work
• Commitment to health & safety and quality workmanship
Experience Required
• Proven background within air conditioning service and maintenance
• Experience working on split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systems
• Installation experience desirable
• Ability to diagnose and repair faults independently
• Experience working within commercial environments preferred
• Comfortable working across both service and installation projects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
