Mobile Plant Fitter in South East

Mobile Plant Fitter – Up to £45,000

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established building supplies company for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join their maintenance team, servicing, repairing and maintaining a fleet of mobile and fixed plant equipment.

The Role

• Work on heavy mobile and fixed plant, including shovels, excavators, crushers, screeners and conveyors
• Repair and maintain excavator attachments, including concrete pulverisers and clamshell grabs
• Liaise with suppliers to identify and order parts as required
• Work closely with site engineers and depot managers to ensure jobs are completed efficiently
• Complete job and service reports accurately and on time

What We're Looking For

• Solid experience working on heavy mobile and fixed plant (shovels, excavators, crushers, screeners, conveyors)
• Confident working independently and using your own initiative
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrics and transmission/drive systems
• Experience with diagnostic software on construction equipment is an advantage
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Competent welder (MMA and/or MIG)
• Good working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Hours

Monday to Friday, 07:00–17:00, with occasional Saturday work as required. Some early starts or hours outside the norm may be needed.
