We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their established team in Derby. This Mobile Vehicle Technician role offers a unique opportunity to work independently, providing on-site servicing and diagnostics directly from your home. Duties of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on-site at customer locations
  • Operate a fully equipped service van, starting and finishing from home
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
  • Accurately complete job cards and detailed documentation
  • Utilise diagnostic tools to identify and resolve faults efficiently
  • Manage your daily workload independently, ensuring timely completion of jobs
Requirements of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven experience as a mobile or workshop vehicle technician
  • Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple jobs on the road
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
