We are representing a market-leading automotive breakdown, recovery, and repair business, currently seeking to appoint a Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover Cambridge and the surrounding region.   • Starting salary of £34,000 annually, with additional overtime and bonus opportunities

  • Guaranteed 5-day/45-hour week, scheduled Monday to Saturday, either Monday or Tuesday to Saturday

Duties of the Mobile Vehicle Technician:
  • Attend customer locations (both B2B and B2C) for scheduled servicing and maintenance
  • Perform basic vehicle service, brake inspections, and diagnostic work
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through friendly and professional service
  • Maintain vehicle diagnosis and repair records accurately
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company operating procedures
  • Use company-provided tools and equipment to deliver quality service at customer sites
Requirements of the Mobile Vehicle Technician:
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or IMI Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent; relevant practical experience will also be considered
  • Proven experience within the motor trade as a vehicle technician
  • Full UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently at customer locations, managing time efficiently
  • Adaptability to work within scheduled hours, providing flexible availability as required
