Duties of a MOT Technician:
  • Deliver high standards of vehicle servicing and repairs in accordance with manufacturer and company guidelines
  • Complete repairs and servicing efficiently, maintaining quality standards
  • Ensure all warranty and repair documentation is accurate and compliant
  • Identify additional work opportunities that prioritise the safety and satisfaction of customers
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the repair process
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
  • Support colleagues within the team to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements of a MOT Technician:
  • Previous experience within an automotive retailer, dealership, or similar environment
  • NVQ Level 3 in Automotive Vehicle Servicing & Repair or equivalent qualification
  • Valid MOT Tester licence is highly advantageous
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
  • Customer-focused attitude and professional approach
  • Full UK driving licence (licence checks will be performed)
