The ideal MOT Tester will have a valid MOT licence and be experienced in carrying out Class 4 MOT tests to DVSA standards. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a modern 10-ramp workshop while maintaining a strong work/life balance, with no weekend shifts required.
Benefits for the Successful MOT Tester:
- Salary circa £40,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience
- Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- No weekend working
- 28 days holiday, including bank holidays

- Conduct Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations
- Complete all MOT documentation accurately and professionally
- Identify and report vehicle defects clearly and effectively
- Assist with light servicing and repairs when necessary
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service
- Valid MOT Tester licence (essential)
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
- Experience in an independent garage or similar workshop setting
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Full UK driving licence
