We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading company within the UK's automotive service industry, for an experienced MOT Tester to join their busy Bristol centre. Duties of a MOT Tester:
  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with Government standards, ensuring vehicle safety and compliance
  • Support customers through the MOT process by providing updates and clear explanations regarding test results, including reasons for any failures
  • Support the workshop team by diagnosing and carrying out associated vehicle service and repair work when required
  • Promote excellent customer service by building and maintaining lasting client relationships
  • Work efficiently within a team to ensure smooth workflow and uphold workshop standards as an MOT Tester
  • Assist in the general support of workshop activities as needed
Requirements of a MOT Tester:
  • Valid Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence
  • Full UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Ideally hold IMI/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
  • Alternatively, comprehensive experience as a vehicle mechanic supported by an active MOT licence
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment
