We are recruiting on behalf of our client, one of the UK's largest automotive tyre and fast fit centre groups, for a highly skilled MOT Tester to join their busy North Bristol centre. Duties of a MOT Tester:
  • Conduct MOT tests to Government standards on a variety of vehicles
  • Support customers by explaining test results, necessary repairs, and reasons for failures
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships through effective communication
  • Support the workshop team by diagnosing faults and carrying out associated service and repair work when required
  • Assist in workshop operations to ensure smooth work flow and high standards of service
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and operational protocols
Requirements of a MOT Tester:
  • Valid Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence
  • UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Ideally qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Alternatively, substantial vehicle mechanic experience with an active MOT licence
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Commitment to high-quality workmanship and safety standards
