We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable automotive service centre in North London for the position of MOT Tester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MOT Tester to develop their career within a professional and supportive environment.   • Competitive salary ranging from £37,000 to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience

  • Monday to Friday working schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Duties of an MOT Tester: 
  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with VOSA regulations
  • Inspect vehicles and assess their condition for safety and compliance
  • Complete detailed inspection reports and documentation accurately
  • Maintain high standards of safety and ensure adherence to testing procedures
  • Assist with general vehicle repairs and servicing as needed
  • Work efficiently within the workshop team to ensure timely testing
  • Keep up to date with current MOT testing standards and regulations
Requirements of an MOT Tester:
  • Proven experience as an MOT Tester, with relevant qualifications preferred
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of current MOT testing standards and procedures
  • Reliable and professional approach to work
