We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled MOT Tester to join our client’s busy aftersales team at a reputable main dealer in Southampton. Duties of a MOT Tester:
  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards, ensuring comprehensive and accurate inspections
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and attention to detail during vehicle assessments
  • Work collaboratively with the service team to diagnose, identify, and communicate additional repair or servicing requirements
  • Keep up to date with manufacturer training, especially for electric and hybrid vehicle systems
  • Adhere strictly to workshop procedures and safety protocols at all times
  • Support continuous improvement in MOT testing procedures and vehicle diagnostics
Requirements of a MOT Tester:
  • Valid MOT licence
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to expand knowledge in electric and hybrid vehicle systems
  • Previous experience in a main dealer or high-quality workshop environment is advantageous
  • Commitment to delivering high standards of service and vehicle safety
