Duties of a MOT Tester:
  • Conduct accurate, thorough MOT tests according to DVSA standards
  • Ensure vehicle safety and compliance with legal requirements
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment regularly
  • Complete detailed reports and documentation for each vehicle tested
  • Provide excellent customer service and technical advice when required
  • Support the workshop team to uphold high standards of service and safety
Requirements of a MOT Tester:
  • Current DVSA MOT Testing licence is essential
  • Valid UK driving licence with a clean record
  • Proven experience as an MOT Tester with solid knowledge of vehicle safety standards
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team environment
