Multi-Skilled Engineer – Food Manufacturing

- Salary: £50,000 - £53,000 + Benefits!
- Shift Pattern: PANAMA - Days and Nights

Are you a Multi-Skilled Engineer with expertise in both mechanical and electrical engineering? Do you want to be part of a large, well-established food manufacturing business with excellent career prospects?

Our client, a leading name in the food manufacturing industry, is looking for a highly skilled and proactive engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment, ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and minimising downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reactive and planned maintenance of production machinery and site equipment
- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repairs
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and food industry regulations
- Working collaboratively with the engineering and production teams to maintain high operational standards

What We’re Looking For:

- City & Guilds Level 3 (or above) in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience working within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated systems is beneficial
- A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent teamwork and communication skills
