Multi Trade Operative

Salary: Upto £32,927 + Company Van & Fuel Card

We are recruiting several skilled Multi Trade Operatives to join a national property maintenance contractor delivering planned repairs and maintenance to family housing across military sites throughout East and East Anglia.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Multi Trade Operative who enjoys varied work, takes pride in delivering quality repairs and wants to be part of a well-established organisation offering long-term stability and ongoing development.

As a Multi Trade Operative, you'll carry out planned maintenance and repair works across occupied and void residential properties, helping to ensure homes remain safe, comfortable and maintained to a high standard. You'll be provided with modern technology, a company vehicle and the support needed to complete jobs efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.

• Carry out plumbing repairs and minor plumbing installations.
• Complete carpentry repairs and basic joinery work.
• Undertake a variety of general property maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose faults and complete first-time fixes where possible.
• Work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused service on every visit.
• Accurately complete job information using a PDA or handheld device.

• Experience working as a Multi Trade Operative within domestic property maintenance.
• Strong plumbing and carpentry skills.
• Experience working in occupied and void properties.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
• Experience using PDAs or handheld technology.
• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 (preferred).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to undergo DBS and Security Clearance checks.
• Professional attitude with excellent customer service skills.
