Multiskilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Burnley
Salary: £39,000 per annum + up to 6k call out bonus after probation

Hours: Monday - Friday 8 - 4.30

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Multiskilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join the Estates and Facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems and supporting a wide range of building services across the hospital estate, ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities of Multiskilled Engineer:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the hospital estate
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults on a range of building services systems
  • Support the maintenance of water systems, AHUs, ventilation, medical gas systems, and general building fabric
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and statutory requirements
  • Participate in a 1-in-3 on-call rota following probation
  • Undertake Electrical Authorised Person (AP) duties and support other AP disciplines where required

The Successful Multiskilled Engineer will have:

  • Previous Facilities Management (FM) and general electrical maintenance experience.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an electrical discipline.
  • City & Guilds 2392 Inspection and Testing.
  • City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
