We are looking to speak to Multi-skilled Engineers who are interested in joining a leading food manufacturer that have a presence globally. You will be working for a company that has a fantastic culture along with a world class facility.

We are seeking Engineers with either Electrical or Mechanical bias, however, you must have experience in both disciplines. In this role your main responsibility is to ensure that production runs smoothly and planned maintenance is adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

·Conducting preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment, including but not limited to conveyors, processing equipment, packaging machinery, automated baggers, robotics etc.

·Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues to minimise downtime and optimise production efficiency.

·Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing equipment performance and reliability.

·Adhering to strict food safety and quality standards, always ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

·Contributing to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies to support long-term operational goals.

Requirements:

·Proven experience in a similar engineering role within the food manufacturing industry.

·Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

·Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing faults in PLC-controlled machinery.

·Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

·Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.

·Understanding of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.

Working in such a fast-paced environment, you must have experience working within the food industry or FMCG. You will need to be able to hit the ground running and get stuck in. Ideally, we are looking for apprentice-trained Engineers in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
