We are looking for experienced, Nursery Practitioners / Nursery Assistant in the Dulwich, South London.

The role of the Nursery Practitioner / Assistant involves:

  • Being proactive whilst using your initiative throughout the working day to support the staff team.

  • Being a team player.

  • Caring for the children’s well-being.

  • Safeguarding the children and having their best interests at heart.

  • Educating the children in a play-based environment.

  • Fully engaging and interacting with the children whilst supporting their individual needs.

·Requirements:

  • Hold a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 in Childcare)

  • Unqualified with a minimum of 6 months previous experience working in nursery or childcare settings

  • Be passionate about supporting children's development and learning

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be flexible and adaptable to different nursery environments

  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude

  • Have the ability to use their initiative

  • Have a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures

  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Show a commitment to ongoing professional development

  • Be willing to travel up to 45 minutes from home

  • Have an up to date DBS check on the update system (or be willing to obtain one through Pertemps)
