Reeson Education is recruiting an experienced and reliable Nursery Cook to join a nursery in Bow, Tower Hamlets, starting on 24th November 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience working in a nursery or school kitchen who enjoys preparing healthy, nutritious meals for young children. The successful candidate will help ensure children receive balanced meals while maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety.

The role offers consistent part-time hours, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 1:30pm.

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals suitable for young children.

• Follow menus and cater for allergies, dietary requirements and individual needs.

• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety.

• Ensure food is stored, prepared and served in accordance with food safety procedures.

• Monitor kitchen supplies and help manage stock levels.

• Complete food safety records and temperature checks where required.

• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for daily service.

• Work alongside nursery staff to ensure meals are served on time.

• Previous experience working in a nursery or school kitchen is essential.

• Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food preparation practices.

• A Food Hygiene qualification is desirable.

• An understanding of children's nutritional needs and dietary requirements.

• Good organisational and time-management skills.

• A reliable, flexible and positive approach to work.

• A commitment to safeguarding children's health and wellbeing.

• Start date: 24th November 2026.

• Hours: 8:30am-1:30pm, Monday to Friday.
