Nursery Nurse

Permanent | £14.25 per hour | Full Time | Immediate Start

TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a nursery in Bolton, a busy, welcoming nursery that is continuing to grow thanks to its fantastic reputation within the local community. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and experienced team who are committed to helping every member of staff develop and thrive.

• Full-time permanent position
• 40 hours per week
• 51 weeks per year
• 8-hour shifts on a rota:
  • 7:30am – 4:00pm
  • 9:00am – 6:00pm
• £14.25 per hour 

This is a vibrant and fast-paced nursery with a constant flow of new families joining throughout the year. The team pride themselves on creating a warm, nurturing environment where children can flourish through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships.

You'll work alongside an incredibly supportive management team, with Zeenat, Beck, and the experienced room leaders investing plenty of time into developing and mentoring staff, making this an excellent opportunity whether you're experienced or looking to build on your existing skills.

Building strong relationships with parents is a huge part of the role, with detailed handovers and excellent communication helping families feel involved in their child's learning journey.

• Hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification
• Have at least 1 year's nursery experience
• Be enthusiastic, caring, and love getting involved in play
• Have excellent communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues
• Be passionate about supporting children's development
• Enjoy working as part of a friendly and supportive team

You'll typically have 8–10 key children, with a mixture of full and part-time attendees.

Successful applicants will be invited to interview. The process includes:
