TeacherActive is proud to be working with an independent community nursery based in Stockport, who are looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner. The nursery has a nurturing ethos and has achieved a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating, providing a welcoming environment where children are encouraged to learn, develop and build their confidence.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner on a long-term basis from September, with flexible working available. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children throughout the setting, helping to provide engaging age-appropriate activities and a safe, positive environment in which children can learn and develop.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification desirable

• Previous experience working within a UK nursery is essential

• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS

• Strong communication skills

• A flexible and adaptable approach

• A caring, nurturing and enthusiastic attitude
