Are you a passionate Nursery Practitioner looking for your next opportunity in an inspiring and supportive setting? We are recruiting for a full-time Nursery Practitioner to join an Ofsted-rated Outstanding nursery located close to Denmark Hill and East Dulwich stations.

This bright and spacious nursery provides exceptional Early Years education and care for children from birth to 5 years old. With a strong focus on learning through play, the nursery offers a warm, nurturing environment where both children and staff can thrive. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will become part of a dedicated team committed to delivering the highest standards of care and education every day.

The nursery boasts a large outdoor garden that is enjoyed by children of all ages, giving every Nursery Practitioner the opportunity to encourage outdoor exploration, creativity, and physical development. Children enjoy an exciting range of activities including yoga, PE, singing and signing nursery rhymes, messy arts and crafts, cooking, construction play, and growing their own vegetables on the nursery's on-site allotment. As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll play a key role in planning and delivering these engaging experiences while supporting each child's individual learning journey.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner who is enthusiastic, caring, and committed to providing outstanding Early Years education. You'll work alongside experienced colleagues in a welcoming environment where your ideas and professional development are valued. The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
  • Plan fun, engaging, and age-appropriate learning experiences.
  • Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with a friendly and supportive team.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working as a Nursery Practitioner.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's development.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding practices.
