Simply Education is recruiting a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join a well-established private day nursery located in Sandbach.

With extensive outdoor space, a sensory garden and opportunities for children to visit and care for nursery animals, this setting offers a genuinely different early-years experience.

The Opportunity:

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • £12.71 to £14.25 per hour
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 6:30pm
  • Unqualified, Level 2 and Level 3 applicants welcomed
  • Support to complete recognised Level 2 and Level 3 childcare qualifications

Who Can Apply?

Applications are welcomed from candidates at different stages of their childcare careers:

  • Unqualified applicants who are passionate about working with children and willing to complete Level 2 and Level 3 childcare qualifications
  • Level 2 qualified applicants who are willing to work towards Level 3
  • Level 3 qualified practitioners looking for a permanent position within a supportive nursery

Previous nursery or early-years experience would be beneficial, but applicants with the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn will also be considered.

Your Role:

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide safe, nurturing and attentive care
  • Support children's learning through play, stories, creativity and outdoor activities
  • Help plan engaging activities in line with the EYFS
  • Complete observations and developmental records where appropriate
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery procedures

Your responsibilities will reflect your experience and qualification level, with support available as you develop.
