TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large and welcoming nursery in York that is seeking a dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join their team. The setting boasts fantastic indoor facilities alongside a unique woodland area, providing children with exciting opportunities for outdoor learning, exploration and development within a stimulating environment.

The nursery is looking to appoint a Nursery Room Leader on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start available. The successful Nursery Room Leader will be responsible for leading a room team, supporting children's learning through the EYFS framework, maintaining high standards of care, and ensuring a positive and engaging experience for all children within the nursery.

The successful Nursery Room Leader will have:

• Level 3 Childcare Qualification (essential)
• Previous experience working within a nursery setting
• Experience leading a room or supporting room management responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive, proactive and caring approach
