Nursery Teacher

Location: Acocks Green, Birmingham
Contract: Full Academic Year (September 2026 - July 2027)
Hours: Full-Time
Salary: £174-£270 per day

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive early years setting in Acocks Green for the full academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to providing a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for children at the start of their educational journey.

As a Nursery Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and age-appropriate learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
• Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress, maintaining accurate records.
• Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and educational development.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team to ensure the highest standards of care and education.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within an EYFS or Nursery setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A caring, positive, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
