Location: Forest Gate, London
Salary: £31,000 - £40,000 (DOE) + Excellent Benefits
Hours: 8:30-17:00 Monday to Friday

As an Ocean Import Operator, you'll play a key role in managing import shipments from start to finish, ensuring customers receive a seamless, efficient service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing ocean import shipments from booking through to final delivery.
- Liaising with overseas agents, shipping lines, customers, and hauliers.
- Preparing and checking import documentation.
- Customs clearance coordination (where applicable).
- Monitoring shipment progress and proactively communicating with customers.
- Handling invoicing, costing, and file completion.
- Providing a high level of customer service throughout the shipment lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in Ocean Imports within freight forwarding.
- Strong understanding of import operations and shipping documentation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritise workloads effectively.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach.
- Experience with customs procedures is advantageous.
