Position: Ocean Import Operator

Location: Totton, Southampton

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 17:00

holiday: 25 days + bank holidays

The Company:

Our client Offer a new tailored approach to global freight and logistics solutions in an ever changing market. They provide tailor made solutions for all types of freight movements and associated services supported by industry leading IT platforms, ensuring they deliver peace of mind to all of their customers to coincide with our growth and development plans for 2022 and beyond we now seek to appoint a new ocean import coordinator to our growing team in based from our offices in Totton, Southampton.

Ocean Import Operator Role & Responsibilities:

• Complete deep sea import operations from start to finsh
• Provide first rate customer service delivering the full life cycle of the import process.
• Provide rates and quotes (LCL/FCL)
• Create bookings from origin for LCL & FCL Import shipments
• liaise with overseas agents, hauliers, shipping lines and customer directly
• complete customs clearances for all import shipments
• produce commercial invoices

Essential requirements:

1 - 3 years' experience in ocean freight operations in import or export operations

Experience with Cargowise software is preferable

The Package: Salary: up to£35,000 (Negotiable)

Mon - Fri 8:30am - 17:00pm 25 days holiday + 8 days BHProfit share scheme
