Off Site Fitter 

We are looking for Field Based Fitters to work across the UK and World Wide.

You will be willing to work away from home, be self motivated and have a background and experience of working on client sites.

As a Fitter – Assembler, you will:

• Assemble bespoke machinery to a high standard using technical drawings
• Use hand, power, and precision measuring tools proficiently
• Set up machinery and equipment for various material types
• Carry out safety checks and maintain a clean, efficient work area
• Assist with welding and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Work both independently and as part of a skilled team in a fast-paced environment

Candidate Requirements:

• City & Guilds or equivalent relevant experience
• Mechanical fitting and assembly experience
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Familiar with safe working practices and PPE
• Experience using overhead cranes (training provided)
• Competent with tools such as grinders and drills
• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail

Desirable:

• Apprenticeship-trained in engineering
• Bench fitting qualification
• Health & Safety qualifications
