We are seeking an enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our client’s busy team in Hendon. This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, motivated candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being at the heart of a busy office.
As Office Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and secretarial support across the business, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office. You'll work closely with colleagues, customers, and external contacts, managing a variety of tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
What’s in it for you:
- Salary: £26.5k
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm (fully office based)
- 21 days holiday plus bank holidays (the office will be closed on Jewish holidays, and it will be unpaid leave)

Key responsibilities:
- Answering and directing telephone calls and emails
- Greeting visitors and dealing with general enquiries
- Managing diaries, appointments and meetings
- Preparing letters, documents and general correspondence
- Filing and maintaining office records
- Data entry and updating company systems
- Ordering office supplies when required
- Handling incoming and outgoing post
- Assisting with general office administration
- Supporting other members of staff with administrative tasks
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling information appropriately
- Helping to ensure the office remains organised and runs efficiently
- Managing the office key system, including issuing and receiving keys to and from contractors, staff and authorised personnel, and maintaining accurate records.
What the employer is looking for:
- Previous office or administrative experience is desirable
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word and email
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to remain calm and organised in a busy office
