This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organised and being part of a busy, customer-focused environment.

A significant part of this role will be developed through on-the-job learning, so you do not need previous experience in a similar role. Full training will be provided, including training in garment embroidery and our systems and processes. What matters most is that you are reliable, willing to learn and committed to giving customers a great experience. 

Based at the BMW MINI Plant Oxford, you will support colleagues and customers with their on-site workwear requirements. The role is varied and practical, giving you the opportunity to use your customer service, communication and organisational skills every day. 

You will also act as a key contact on site, helping to make sure customers receive the high standard of service we are proud of. 

What you'll be doing...

  • Collect and distribute laundry on site using the onsite vehicle.
  • Liaise with the laundry provider when required
  • Maintaining locker inventory and keep records up to date
  • Provide occasional cover when needed at the Swindon site
  • Carry out garment embroidery with full training provided.
  • Process customer orders and help resolve order queries.
  • Receive deliveries, track orders and let customers know when garments have arrived.
  • Complete stock counts and support stock taking activity. 
  • Welcome and support visitors to the workwear centre.
  • Keep the work area tidy, safe and organised.
  • Submit reports and KPI information within agreed timescales
  • Process returns when needed.

Your Background and Experience 

  • You will need a full UK driving licence
  • Experience of using a computer, including Outlook and Excel
  • Can stay organised and manage a variety of tasks
  • Has a positive, can-do attitude
  • Enjoys working with others and supporting customers
  • Can work on your own initiative once trained
  • Is proactive and calm when things get busy
  • Takes pride in doing a job well
  • Communicates in a professional, friendly and respectful way
  • Is willing to learn new skills and develop in the role
