On-site Commercial Upholsterer / Installer – Southern England, London & Surrounding areas

At Servico Contract Upholstery Limited, we’re a fast-growing, ambitious company specialising in high-quality on-site and off-site upholstery services for the hospitality sector. We work with pubs, clubs, restaurants, hotels, and cinemas – helping create outstanding spaces for some of the UK’s leading hospitality brands.

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Upholsterer / Installer to join our growing team. This full-time role involves on-site work at client locations. You’ll survey, upholster, and install premium fixed seating and furniture for prestigious hospitality venues. Travel is part of the role but fully supported (company van provided), and you’ll enjoy variety rather than a desk-bound routine.

Responsibilities

  • Measure and assess furniture on-site for precise, perfect-fitting upholstery projects
  • Safely and efficiently operate hand tools and power tools
  • Cut, sew, and assemble high-quality fabric coverings according to specifications
  • Repair or replace damaged upholstery components with meticulous attention to detail
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Follow all safety protocols and industry standards at all times

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Proven experience in upholstery, installation, carpentry, or a similar trade (strong preference – training provided for the right candidate)
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand tools and power tools Ability to lift heavy materials safely
  • Good organisational skills
  • Strong surveying and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Commitment to quality craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail
