Operations Coordinator

Location: Hybrid – near Diss

Working hours: Permanent, Part Time – 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day across 5 days (with some weekend cover in busier winter months)

Salary: £15.00 per hour

We are looking for a proactive and organised Operations Support Lead to join our client's team, a specialist facilities/grounds maintenance business that has grown year on year.

In this critical role, you will support the front-line operations team across every aspect of their work, from delivery partner enrolment and paperwork, to keeping jobs on track within their systems and keeping clients calm, informed and reassured throughout the season.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES of the Operations Coordinator

  • Develop a strong working relationship with the operational team, providing support wherever needed
  • Respond promptly and confidently to clients
  • Work with operations through the summer months to build, extend and develop the delivery partner network and grow company capability
  • Check in daily to ensure all active jobs are assigned and accepted by teams, ready for delivery
  • Liaise with clients to check maps, areas and access
  • Review reports and liaise with delivery partners ensuring tracking and data are completed
  • Manage site access issues

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE required 

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret site maps, tracking detail and site photos
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn operational detail into clear, reassuring updates for clients
  • High proficiency in data tracking tools, Excel, and mass-communication software (e.g. SMS/email broadcasting platforms)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, particularly through the winter season
  • No industry experience required – full training is given, so the right attitude matters more

WHAT'S ON OFFER

  • Weekend cover required in busier months – not every weekend, and not full days – either paid on top or taken as time in lieu, whichever you prefer, and always from home
