The Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Facilities Management provider for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of Hard Services contracts across the East of Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Operations Manager with a strong technical background in Hard FM to join a growing business and play a key role in driving operational performance and client satisfaction.

The Role

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of multiple commercial maintenance contracts, ensuring exceptional service delivery, financial performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of Hard Services FM contracts.
• Manage Operations Supervisors, Contracts Managers and engineering teams.
• Ensure KPI and SLA targets are consistently achieved.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage operational budgets and financial performance.
• Drive continuous improvement across service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and statutory legislation.
• Support contract mobilisation and business growth.
• Mentor and develop operational teams.
• Work closely with senior management to achieve business objectives.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager within Hard Services Facilities Management.
• Strong Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC or Building Services background.
• Experience managing multiple commercial FM contracts.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with budget responsibility.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

Essential Requirements

✔ Extensive Hard Services FM experience
✔ Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC or Building Services background
✔ Experience managing operational teams and commercial contracts
✔ Strong client-facing skills
✔ Full UK Driving Licence
