Description

The Operations manager will lead both the print production and fulfilment

  • Manage daily logistics operations to ensure efficient workflows.
  • Oversee inventory management and stock control processes (Materials, Packaging).
  • Coordinate with suppliers and Parcel Carrier partners to maintain supply chain efficiency.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all activities.
  • Lead and support the logistics team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Prepare reports on operational performance for senior management.
  • Implement cost-effective planning strategies to optimise material and labour resources and reduce waste.

Profile

A successful Operations Manager should have:

  • A hands on management style including management on shop floor teams up to 30 people
  • Experience in logistics, fulfilment or production operations management within the Ecommerce or Print industries.
  • Strong organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent planning and forecasting skills
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a logistics setting.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary between £50,000 and £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
