We are working with a well-established manufacturing business in the West Midlands who, due to growth, are seeking an experienced Operations Manager. The role will take full ownership of the site, work closely with stakeholders and drive operational excellence, P&L /EBIT performance and the transition towards a fully automated manufacturing environment.

Job Description
  • Lead full site operations ensuring safe, efficient and reliable operations.
  • Take full accountability for site P&L, EBIT, budgets, cost control and operational KPIs, driving productivity, margin improvement and business performance.
  • Lead new product industrialisation and successful transition into full-scale production
  • Build a high-performing culture focused on customer delivery, quality and continuous improvement, while developing teams, processes and capabilities.

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • Proven experience within FMCG or highly automated manufacturing environments
  • Full P&L and EBIT responsibility, with a strong track record of delivering financial, cost and operational performance.
  • Experience leading high-turnover, high-volume operations
  • Strong site leadership and operational management experience
