Optical Supervisor – Golders Green

Full-Time | Up to £30,000

Lunaria Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Optical Supervisor to join a busy and successful optical practice in Golders Green.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and motivated Optical Assistant or existing Supervisor who is looking to take the next step in their career. You’ll be joining a supportive team in a practice that prides itself on delivering exceptional customer care and high professional standards.

The Role

As an Optical Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day running of the practice while leading by example on the shop floor.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming environment
• Supporting and motivating the team to achieve practice goals
• Carrying out pre-screening and optical dispensing
• Advising patients on frames, lenses, and optical products
• Managing collections, adjustments, repairs, and aftercare
• Assisting with appointment flow and ensuring a smooth patient journey
• Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally
• Supporting training and development of team members
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and organisation throughout the practice

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Previous experience working within an optical practice
• Experience in dispensing and pre-screening
• Supervisory or team-leading experience is desirable
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A professional and positive attitude
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A passion for optics and delivering an exceptional patient experience
