Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an expanding organisation based in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity to join their team as an Outbound Customer Advisor on a full-time permanent basis, with full training provided and the opportunity to earn an average of £1,000–£1,500 commission per month.

Package and Benefits

  • Average monthly commission of £1,000–£1,500
  • Full training provided
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm | One day per week 9:00am–5:30pm

Job Role

  • Making outbound calls to business customers to discuss outstanding debt
  • Speaking with customers to understand individual circumstances and supporting the collection of outstanding payments
  • Building positive rapport and maintaining professional relationships with business customers
  • Handling potentially sensitive conversations confidently while balancing empathy with assertiveness
  • Negotiating appropriate outcomes and working towards successful resolutions
  • Sending emails and relevant correspondence and following up with customers where required
  • Updating and maintaining accurate information on the internal database
  • Managing customer queries professionally and working closely with the wider team to support account activity

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrating previous experience within a similar role or possessing strong transferable customer service skills from retail, hospitality or another customer-focused environment
  • Possessing excellent verbal communication skills with the confidence to engage with customers over the telephone
  • Demonstrating strong negotiation skills with the ability to balance empathy and assertiveness
  • Building rapport naturally and creating a positive first impression
  • Demonstrating resilience and remaining professional during challenging or sensitive conversations
  • Possessing strong organisational, problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Maintaining professionalism across all forms of communication
  • Demonstrating a positive, enthusiastic and self-motivated approach
  • Being driven to achieve results and motivated by the opportunity to earn additional commission
