Overnight Respite Support Worker: A-ND Highlands
Location: Main Office – Units 9-10 Bridgend Business Park, Dingwall, IV15 9SL. Overnight respite location – The Haven Suites.
Salary: Hourly rate between 7am-11pm - £13.45, flat rate during sleeping £97.68 or awakening hours (between 11pm-7am) £115.20

Shift Patterns:
- Full 18 hour Overnight (Sleeping only) 3pm – 9am

A-ND ((url removed)) is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Neurodiversity Support Workers (NDSW) to join our team in Dingwall, Highlands.
The Role
To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support during overnight respite stays for neurodiverse individuals, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
- Provide overnight supervision and support tailored to individual needs, including personal care, emotional reassurance and personal outcomes.
- Follow individual personal plans, risk assessments and communication needs.
- Promote independence, dignity, and choice in all aspects of care.
- Support individuals with transitions, bedtime routines, and morning preparations.
- Monitor and respond to health needs, including administering medication (if trained and authorized).

Requirements
Preferred: Valid driver’s license, although non-drivers will be considered if all other criteria are met.
Essential: A passion for working with neurodiverse individuals and a commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care and support. Must register with SSSC. Valid driver’s license, although non-drivers will be considered if all other criteria are met.
Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role and relevant qualifications, although full training will be provided.
