About the Role

We are currently recruiting for two experienced Personal Assistants to support a senior Executive Team within a public sector organisation based in Nuneaton.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, professional and highly capable PA/Executive Assistant to work closely with senior leadership, providing high-level administrative and project support in a busy and confidential environment.

The role is office-based, with some flexibility around working hours and part-time arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage diaries and appointments for the Chief Executive and Strategic Directors.
  • Monitor and manage senior executives' email accounts.
  • Arrange meetings, events, travel and visits.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations and other documentation.
  • Take minutes and provide administrative support at senior management meetings.
  • Act as a key point of contact for senior managers, elected representatives, external organisations and members of the public.
  • Maintain accurate electronic filing systems, including confidential records.
  • Provide project and programme support for corporate projects.
  • Assist with reports for senior leadership, Cabinet and Council meetings.
  • Support Freedom of Information requests, complaints and other enquiries.
  • Raise purchase orders and process relevant financial transactions.
  • Assist with corporate events and occasional civic/Mayoral support.
  • Ensure sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately at all times.

About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a PA, Executive Assistant, Senior Administrator or similar role, ideally within a complex or public sector environment.

You should have:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing diaries, correspondence and meetings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading ability.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
  • A professional and confident manner when dealing with senior stakeholders and external organisations.
  • Previous experience taking minutes and preparing reports would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge or understanding of local government would be desirable.

A relevant qualification at Level 3 or equivalent is required.
