Packing Operative

Key Responsibilities
- Pack bottled, canned, and kegged beer products in line with production schedules.
- Operate and monitor packaging machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Carry out quality checks on products and packaging materials, identifying and reporting any defects.
- Label, box, palletise, and prepare finished goods for dispatch.
- Ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work area in accordance with brewery and food safety standards.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with line changeovers, cleaning, and basic machine maintenance where required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or packing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks.
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Up to 4 days per week
Shifts: 6:00am - 2:00pm / 11:00am - 6:00pm
Contract: Temporary ongoing
