Paint Sprayer

Prepare surfaces for wet painting, cleaning, blowing down, bunging, sanding and masking.

• Mix paint products to the correct ratios using technical data sheets.
• Apply wet primers, paints and coatings evenly, avoiding overspray.
• Carry out quality checks and inspect for runs, pinholes, bare spots and poor coverage.
• Refinish areas where required.
• Minimise paint/material waste.
• Use air-assisted and airless spray pumps.
• Fill, sand and smooth surfaces before spraying.
• Use and maintain air-fed respiratory equipment.

• At least 1 year's experience in an industrial production blasting/painting environment.
• Mechanical knowledge and ability to use power tools and hand tools.
• Ability to work to high-quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.
• Good attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and positive attitude.
• Knowledge of different coating types and their applications was an advantage.
