Duties of the Paint Sprayer:
  • Prepare vehicles and perform spray painting operations according to manufacturer guidelines
  • Operate spray booths effectively, adjusting pressure and temperature settings
  • Maintain and clean spray guns regularly to ensure optimal performance
  • Follow safety protocols, particularly during fuel and engine removal
  • Ensure air intakes are unobstructed and filters are replaced as needed
  • Wear appropriate PPE including gloves, eye protection, and air-fed breathing apparatus
  • Dispose of waste materials responsibly in compliance with safety regulations
  • Monitor spray booth conditions to meet negative pressure standards
Requirements of the Paint Sprayer:
  • Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer, ideally with IMI or ATA qualifications and solid bodyshop background
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
  • Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment
  • Full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
  • Valid paint sprayer skills and knowledge are essential
  • A proactive attitude and excellent team working skills
