Paint Sprayer

To apply finishes, coatings, and paints to components and products to a high standard, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to production schedules.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, cleaning, and masking as required
• Mix paints, stains, lacquers, and coatings to the correct colour and consistency
• Operate spray guns and related finishing equipment safely and effectively
• Apply coatings evenly to meet quality and finish specifications
• Inspect finished items for defects such as runs, overspray, or uneven coverage
• Carry out minor repairs or rework where needed
• Maintain spray booths, tools, and equipment in good working condition
• Follow health and safety procedures, especially around ventilation and chemical handling
• Work to production targets while maintaining quality standards
• Liaise with production and quality teams to resolve finish issues

Skills and experience:

• Previous experience in paint spraying,
• Good attention to detail and steady hand for high-quality finishes
• Awareness of health and safety in a workshop or spray booth environment

Additional Info:

• Hours: 8:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday
• Rate; £14.00-16.00 per hour DOE
• Start Date: ASAP
