Panel Beater

What we are offering Panel Beaters:

• Full Time / Permanent.
• Salary - £35,000 - £52,000 (Dependant on Experience/Qualifications)
• Fantastic Bonus Scheme (OTE £60k+)
• Monday – Friday (8am-5:30pm)
• 1 in 4 Saturdays on an as and when need basis

Key Tasks of a Panel Beater:

• Finishing the repair in a way that matches the rest of the bodywork or preparing the surface for a paint sprayer.
• Mending rusted parts of a vehicle’s bodywork.
• Replacement of panels.
• Panel Repairs (Straightening and filling)
• Body Alignment
• Welding ARC, MIG, TIG and bonding
• Panel Beating (Major or Minor damage repair)
• Jig Work
• Filler Work
• Pin pulling
• Removing any dents in panels.
• Repairing minor scratches or making replacement panels.

Qualifications needed for a Panel Beater

• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Panel Beating or be time severed with over 5 years of experience.
• Hold a current valid driving licence
• Previous experience within an accident repair centre essential.
